Holy at the helm with ideas and scrutiny, and myself bearing the monotony of conversions*, modifications, etc. I put this under projects as it's a joint effort between Holy and I. Welcome to the map piece tinkering thread. Even if you don't know exactly what you want to ask, because I've been there. So anything you need, or forget, you can ask me. Blender encouraged me to think outside the box in terms of my past design pipelines, and just about every shortcut I thought of was available to use in Blender.

That's where Blender is different, in that it's full of amazing tools and shortcuts, but you have to think about how you could shortcut a design process if you want to learn them intuitively. Without Blender communities, it'd be too much work, and discouraging enough, to want to pick apart the often overloaded shortcut menus to achieve what you want out of Blender through trial and error. I'll cut to the chase, if you can think of something you want to do in Blender, searching one of its communities for such a method usually yields something close. Swallowed the user interface whole (there's no 'swallow' emoji) and memorized all the shortcuts through experience. After I took Blender seriously a year and a half ago, I've been using it every day pretty much.
